Out and out for colour inspiration

Lubaina Himid (Turner Prize Winner 2017) exhibition @tate is worth a visit. In fact I’m going again because there’s a lot to take in. We have something in common, we both trained in theatre design, although my career was short lived! The paintings are vibrant in colour and detail. The stage scene is a spectacle, be sure you have time to take it all in. D was firmly in her buggy for this one… there’s lots that a toddler could dismantle quite easily.
